Bluesky and Mastodon in one native client, across all of your Apple devices.
A timeline that never loses your place, with every account you follow merged into one Unified feed. Cross-post to several accounts at once, read RSS and Standard.site in a new Reader tab, and theme every surface in the app. And on the Mac, an app that finally feels like a Mac app.
Free to download. One app, every Apple device you own.
Skyscraper speaks Mastodon, and brings all your accounts together
Skyscraper 1.8 is the biggest release yet: Mastodon support, one Unified timeline for every account, Cross-Post, a Reader for RSS and Standard.site, and a Mac app rebuilt to behave like a Mac app.
Mastodon, right alongside Bluesky
Sign in to Mastodon next to your Bluesky accounts and get the whole thing: your home timeline, notifications, DMs, Explore, lists, bookmarks, favorites, polls, content warnings, custom emoji, scheduled posts and push notifications.
Every account, one timeline
Read every account's Following feed in one combined timeline, with merged Notifications. A badge on each post shows which account it came from, and replies, likes and boosts go out as that account.
Write once, post everywhere
Pick several accounts and post to all of them at the same time, from the app or straight from the share sheet.
A new tab for everything else you read
Follow RSS feeds, Standard.site publications, Micro.blog and YouTube channels in one place. Sync with Feedbin, FreshRSS, Inkwell or NewsBlur, organize with tags, filter to Unread Only, and pull up to go to the next story. Your first RSS feed is free.
Pinboard and Instapaper
Save links to Pinboard and Instapaper, with title, description and tag suggestions from Apple Intelligence.
Windows of their own
Open posts and profiles in their own windows, with one window per composer. Drag and drop in and out, Copy Image, Save Image, Print articles, the Services menu and Open With.
Right-click everything
Context menus on posts, links, mentions, hashtags, images and chat bubbles. New menu bar commands, a Keyboard Shortcuts window, and Settings as Mac-style preference panes.
At home in macOS
A native sidebar with unread badges, a System accent color option, Spotlight, App Intents, Controls, and a Dock badge with live counts.
Never lose a post
Drafts save on your device, and your post comes back after a crash. Undo, drag and drop, camera video, and posting videos in the background are all supported.
Your thread, your rules
Thread authors can hide a reply or detach a quote of their post. Replies keep their context even when the parent post appears lower down.
Find that post again
Search your Likes and Favorites and sort by newest or oldest. Save videos to Photos, and share a profile from its ⋯ menu.
30 languages, and better accessibility
Skyscraper is now translated into 30 languages. VoiceOver, Voice Control and Reduce Motion work better across posts, chat and profiles, and image alt text is read aloud.
Faster, lighter, about 60 MB smaller
Faster launch and less background activity. Your reading position is restored more accurately after a few days away, and iCloud syncs more settings and restores them after a reinstall.
Blocked and Muted, in one place
New Blocked Accounts and Muted Accounts pages. Mute words now apply to notifications, Block and Delete ask before acting, and an Undo banner follows common actions.
Your app, your way
Auto-play GIFs and video with Reduce Motion on, or in Low Data and Low Power Mode. Choose how many posts the medium and large timeline widgets show, hide the New Posts banner, and clear the app badge whenever you like.
iPad, Vision Pro and Apple TV
On iPad, Settings, your avatar and Compose sit in the sidebar. Vision Pro gets readable labels and gaze highlights. Apple TV gets more reliable playback, content filtering and sign-in recovery.
And a long list of fixes
Videos no longer go black when you return to the app. The timeline tells you when Bluesky is down instead of failing quietly, and a deleted post says so and leaves your timeline. Profiles, hashtags, feed previews and Saved Posts now lay out posts like the timeline, custom themes reach more screens, and a handful of rare crashes are gone.
One app. Six platforms. No compromises borrowed from the others.
The Mac build isn't the iPhone app in a window, the iPad build isn't the iPhone app stretched, and the Apple TV app isn't a timeline you squint at from across the room. Each one gets the navigation its platform expects.
iPhone
The full client, tuned for one hand, with Bluesky and Mastodon in one Unified timeline, a Reader tab, and Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets for your timeline, followers, post performance, trending topics, recaps and On This Day.
Mac
Multi-column panels where any column can read as any of your accounts, plus posts, profiles and composers in their own windows. Right-click menus everywhere, a full menu bar, a Keyboard Shortcuts window, vim motions, Mac-style preference panes, a native sidebar with unread badges, Spotlight, Controls and a Dock badge with live counts.
iPad
A proper split view with Settings, your avatar and Compose in the sidebar, a sidebar you can hide and it stays hidden, post content laid out at the row's real width, and a floating feed selector that doesn't collide with your replies.
Apple TV
An ambient window into your feed in three modes: Oscillate for one post at a time, Media Wall for a grid of pictures, and Channel for videos back to back with sound. Play any feed, one account or one hashtag, with content filtering, and send a post to your phone with a QR code.
Apple Watch
Your feed, post detail, likes and reposts, plus a recent-post complication. It fetches fresh posts on its own, even when the iPhone app isn't open.
Vision Pro
A native visionOS build with its own text size and spatial layout, readable labels, gaze highlights, and sign-in sheets that fit the space.
Everything else Skyscraper does.
